Issue 10: RELIGION

             Religion

Welcome back, pious Pancake parishioners!

This issue is heaven-sent, because we mailed God an advance copy and it came back with a “no such person at this address” stamp. Thank goodness for small miracles!

Lo, we beseech thee to bless this gathering of prayerful prose, providential poetry, and ardent artwork. “Divine Justice” sees the Almighty doing a bit of micromanaging, “Hobo Harmonica” explores death’s effect on music, and “Religious Education” crash lands at the intersection of Bible school and sex ed. “No Comment” chronicles one editor’s attempt to join a cult, and “Smack Talk of the Town” seeks out what may be the most recent incarnation of the Buddha.

So genuflect, burn a heretic, and enjoy the king of kings of humor, Hobo Pancakes!

With religious sincerity,

The Hobo Pancakes Team
